I must admit to feeling slightly nauseous after looking at this Sean! What you have produced contains very little evidence of research and the choice of format for presentation is ill-judged.
I would have expected to see more textual detail and a selection of images and web links to some of your source materials. When I explained the expectations for this piece of work on my own blog I stated that it must meet the criteria for a `Level 4 piece of work which includes the key words of "excellent" and "detailed". Do you think this is a detailed piece of work?
I also recommended the use of Prezi as a presentation tool. Can you explain to me why you chose to ignore this recommendation and, also, why you chose to present your work in this particular format?
I chose to do it in photoshop because Prezi required flash player to be installed, and I have previous experience with photoshop. In addition, I'm not entirely sure why I made it look like that. I guess I just started working and decided it needed some more colour, and chose something that looked ironically terrible.
I admit that the task was more than a little bit rushed; I can re-do it to a higher standard if I need to, as reflecting on it, I don't feel that this piece of work fully represents the knowledge that I have gathered on the topic (for example, I could add more information to the section on gothic literature). I believe this is because, due to the lack of coherent thought that went into the 'presentation' (if it can be called that) caused more focus to be placed on making the text look neat, and the rest of it look ironically colourful (for some reason which honestly escapes me at this point). I can complete another version in my own time, and post it; or I could leave this here as a grim reminder of my past mistakes.
Your honesty is appreciated Sean. From my perspective, re-doing this task is not necessary as you have been through a learning curve which has, hopefully, led to a clearer understanding of the quality and detail of work that is expected.
You have a genuine interest in media related topics and I am looking forward to seeing you develop your knowledge and understanding of key concepts as we progress through thye course.
